It is revolting that Canadian media outlets publish such pieces that don’t provide any evidence to back such outrageous claims under the label of news. We don’t expect Toronto Sun and Warren Kinsella to make any changes to his article, but, at the very least, clearly identify his article as opinion.

Please send a letter to this offensive, defamatory, and conspiratorial article by Warren Kinsella in Toronto Sun claiming that pro-Palestinian protests are orchestrated by a bigger entity (Iran?) and not the fruit of grassroots mobilization.
It is revolting that Canadian media outlets publish such pieces that don’t provide any evidence to back such outrageous claims under the label of news. We don’t expect Toronto Sun and Warren Kinsella to make any changes to his article, but, at the very least, clearly identify his article as opinion. We also encourage you to send a letter to this insulting article in the hopes that we get a few letters published in the Toronto Sun as the letter to the editor's email contact is included. Toronto Sun asks for letters of 250 words or less.
- Warren claims that the Palestine rallies across the West are not “organic” but are centrally coordinated by a “Jew-hating Wizard of Oz” playing the role of a “directing mind of all the thousands of protests that have targeted Western cities big and small” (Iran). This is not only a way to delegitimize the Palestinian cause supported by a lot of people, but it mirrors an antisemitic trope that Jews control the world.
- Warren claims that: “This newspaper has revealed, for example, that anti-Israel groups have been paying for people to protest against Israel.” Warren makes it sound like it is a widespread phenomenon, while his generalization is based on one article that provided one example of a group in BC that was offering a small stipend to a few people to allow them to take part in activism.
- Warren writes: “Who is writing the cheques for all the protesters and signs and the organizers and the websites? Police and intelligence agencies across Canada and the West are now working overtime to answer that question.” Warren makes this bold factual claim without providing any basis in his article.
