National Post uses antisemitism to shield zionism from critique

"This statement shatters any pretense of journalistic neutrality. If the National Post is an openly Zionist newspaper, it should disclose this bias to readers instead of misleading them into believing they are receiving balanced journalism. Your editorial stance is not driven by journalistic integrity but by ideological loyalty to Israel."

Government subsidized reporter in The Pointer again perpetuates anti-Palestinian narratives

"In response to our own note of concern, CJPME received a reply from the paper's editor, informing us that he would have Peacock write a follow-up piece that resolved the issues. Unfortunately, that article still falls far short. Canada's subsidies for local newspapers is supposed to support "civic journalism," not repeated anti-Palestinian narratives."

Concerns over Mr. Gordon's recent article

"These distortions undermine productive discourse and pander to a narrow, one-sided narrative as Mr. Gordon conflates criticism of Israel with antisemitism. surrounding the image used by SPHR for their Youth Summer Program is glaring. The
image in question is a historical photograph of a colonized people learning about the
colonial struggles of others, which has circulated in pro-Palestine spaces for years. At the

Palestinian Resistance fighters reading copies of 'Quotations from Chairman Mao Zedong'
in 1970."

CJPME acknowledges that our offices, located in Montreal, are on the unceded, unsurrendered Territory of the Kanienʼkehá꞉ka (Mohawk), whose presence here reaches back to time immemorial.  CJPME recognizes the Kanienʼkehá꞉ka as the customary keepers and defenders of the St. Laurence River Watershed and its tributaries. We honour their long history of welcoming many Nations to this beautiful territory and uphold and uplift the voice and values of our Host Nation.  Further, CJPME respects and affirms the inherent and Treaty Rights of all Indigenous Peoples across this land. CJPME has and will continue to honour the commitments to self-determination and sovereignty we have made to Indigenous Nations and Peoples.  CJPME also acknowledges the historical oppression of lands, cultures and the original Peoples in what we now know as Canada and fervently believes that its work should contribute to the healing and decolonizing journey we all share together.
