They are fundamentally Zionist organizations that support Israel, and many Canadians, including Palestine solidarity activists, view them as part of the broader pro-Israel lobby in Canada, and generally aligned with CIJA, even if they have specific policy disagreements.

By not describing it as such, you are presenting it as representative of the Jewish community and their concerns, which is not fair to the Jewish human rights organisations and activists who are against antisemitism but yet critical of the government of Israel and its oppression and occupation of the Palestinian people.
