Israel has been imposing a blockade for months; lack of context in article

Yet, the article left out the insidious reasons why “conditions in the Palestinian enclave [have] descended further into hunger and desperation” and why there is a “struggle to find food”.

Your piece on the Israeli double-tap strike

"Third, you mention the “famine facing civilians.” While I appreciate that this was not the focus of your report, any reference to that famine must mention that Israel openly blockaded Gaza for months (and now allows in barely a trickle of food). Without that context, the reader could easily think that the famine is due to natural causes, such as a drought."

"In light of the above, referring to it as “disputed” misleads readers and violates the journalistic imperative of accuracy. I urge you to revise the article in question and to adopt the terminology “occupied West Bank” in all future reporting on this issue. Using accurate language is essential to uphold the journalistic principles of accuracy, impartiality, and fairness expected from professional journalists."

"Evacuation" obfuscates the clear reality of ethnic cleansing

"I insist that you refer to Israel’s plan as ethnic cleansing, or use similar clear and accurate phrasing, in future coverage and retract any mentions of evacuation and moving Palestinians in this context. I look forward to hearing from you on this matter."
