I would also suggest the use of the word “ceasefire” be put in quotes or referred to as “so-called” or “fake”. There has been no ceasefire for Palestinians. 

In the name of accurate, consistent, and fair reporting, I kindly ask that the article be edited to add that most of Palestinians killed by Israel are civilians, so as not to downplay Israel’s total disregard for international humanitarian law in its indiscriminate bombing of Palestinians in Gaza.

To so crudely question the well-documented famine and the Palestinian death count is cruel, offensive, and shoddy. If one is to raise such serious allegations, that virtually the entire international human rights community is conspiring to invent false claims about Israel’s genocide, a journalist ought to investigate the questions meaningfully, not only cite baseless Israeli government and military denials.

"Though the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza does not distinguish between civilians and combatants using those specific terms, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) relies on data from the Gaza MoH to provide detailed breakdowns by gender and age in its official reports."
