Feedback on today's article "Iran's nuclear constraints were more diplomatic than technical. Then the bombs started dropping"

"The article provides a relatively detailed description of Iran’s history of nuclear enrichment, and includes expert analysis on Iran’s political strategy in relation to nuclear power. This kind of analysis is timely and important, and I hope that it will be referred to in other, future articles where space for such context is more limited."

To the CBC editorial newsroom and Mr. Dyer,

I’m writing on behalf of Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East (CJPME, https://www.cjpme.org) to express appreciation for the article titled “Iran's nuclear constraints were more diplomatic than technical. Then the bombs started dropping” published today.

Both the writer and the outlet deserve thanks for this well-contextualized and insightful piece.

The article provides a relatively detailed description of Iran’s history of nuclear enrichment, and includes expert analysis on Iran’s political strategy in relation to nuclear power. This kind of analysis is timely and important, and I hope that it will be referred to in other, future articles where space for such context is more limited.

That being said, I believe that future coverage could also try to include Iranian sources along with former United States Government experts.

I encourage CBC to continue to draw attention to perspectives and issues that are often sidelined in Canadian mainstream media.

Sincerely,

Alison Jenkins
