There is nothing inaccurate or hateful in the two images posted above. These are merely Canadian citizens exercising their democratic right to protest crimes against humanity. In the context of the B’nai Brith report where these were published, they act as willfully misleading, defamatory and dehumanizing.

To the CTV Calgary newsroom

I am writing on behalf of Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East (CJPME) about your interview on CTV Morning Live Calgary, with Austin Parcels of B’nai Brith which aired on April 28, 2026 @ 7:20 AM.

B’nai Brith has a long history of doing precisely what your guest is falsely denying - conflating the criticism of Israel with antisemitism. In fact, their annual reports back this up convincingly.

The images below are from previous B’nai Brith reports on “antisemitism”.

There is nothing inaccurate or hateful in the two images posted above. These are merely Canadian citizens exercising their democratic right to protest crimes against humanity. In the context of the B’nai Brith report where these were published, they act as willfully misleading, defamatory and dehumanizing.

Not only does B’nai Brith unapologetically conflate Israeli criticism with antisemitism they provide very skimpy data to back it up. They are not transparent with their evidence nor their data collection method therefore rendering the “results” suspicious. Their report is not worthy of airtime on a major Canadian news network without even a fundamental level of questioning from the broadcaster conducting the interview. By not doing this you simply provide a platform for B’nai Brith rather than doing the work of journalism.

Furthermore there are other Jewish groups across Canada that vehemently oppose the antisemetic “results” of these reports. Their voice should be included in a report like the one aired to achieve the balance required to meet basic journalistic standards like this Canadian Press article

By not providing alternate perspectives or challenging Mr. Parcels false claims you have done a disservice to Canadians.

Will CTV Morning Live commit to bringing on an opposing voice, unchallenged, to discuss the profound problems with the report to achieve journalistic balance?

Thank you for reading and I look forward to your response.
