I am writing to you on behalf of Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East. We would like to extend our appreciation for your article of July 22nd, 2026, that was published in the Brandon Sun.
The article explains that a coalition of concerned public groups are pushing back against the criticism by federal cabinet minister, Marc Miller and several Jewish organizations of the new exhibit – “Palestine Uprooted: Nakba Past and Present.”
Miller is going against his own promise not to intervene in how the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, a Crown corporation, curates its exhibits by saying the institution made an error in how it presented the current conflict between Israel and Palestinians.
Your effort to highlight this contradiction is an important component in providing fair and truthful information to the public.
Sincerely,
Debbie Hickey
