Thank you for reporting on Israel’s tactics of intimidation and terror

I especially appreciate that the segment mentions the cultural and historical importance of the olive harvest, noting that it is the primary source of income for Palestinians.

I am writing to you on behalf of Candians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East regarding the TV segment that aired today at 6:17:43 AM.

The segment reports that Israeli settlers set fire to olive groves in the occupied West Bank. 

I especially appreciate that the segment mentions the cultural and historical importance of the olive harvest, noting that it is the primary source of income for Palestinians.  

Watching the segment also deeply resonated with me on a personal level. Every year, my family and I would harvest olives together to produce olive oil and soap. For us, the olive harvest is not only a yearly tradition. It represents our connection to the land; reminding us to remain steadfast much like the olive tree that endures even the harshest of winters.

All of this to say, thank you for reporting on Israel’s tactics of intimidation and terror against Palestinians. Please continue to do so.
