The pro-Israel media watchdog, Honest Reporting Canada, is attempting to bully Global National for speaking about Palestinian struggles in light of Israel’s judicial overhaul.

Reporter Crystal Goomansingh had the courage to speak plainly. Speaking about the implications of weakened Israeli courts, she said “With Israel’s far-right government, that means Palestinians could suffer even more.” She also spoke about the millions of “repressed” Palestinians who are “living under Israeli military occupation.”

CJPME applauds Goomansingh’s reporting and urges Global National not to cave to Honest Reporting’s pressure campaign. It is essential that media outlets continue to shed light on important issues like the struggles faced by Palestinians.
