CJPME publishes over 20 Letters to the Editor since October 7

Since October 7, 2023, CJPME has published over 20 Letters to the Editor in various newspapers in Canada. The content has primarily focused on challenging misinformation, anti-Palestinian racism, and unbalanced media coverage of the ongoing events in Gaza.

While a flood of problematic media continues to pour in, these letters help fight unfair narratives about Palestine and its people.

So far, we’ve published letters in:

CJPME has and will continue to honour the commitments to self-determination and sovereignty we have made to Indigenous Nations and Peoples.  CJPME also acknowledges the historical oppression of lands, cultures and the original Peoples in what we now know as Canada and fervently believes that its work should contribute to the healing and decolonizing journey we all share together.
