There are quite a number of us in this country, yes, who are proud to show our faces in support of Palestinians. Let Hummel sling mud as he will. Lie after lie: that we celebrate "despair," that "Israel put down its weapons," that it is we who do not value human life. In the face of such arrogant blindness and moralizing vapidity, more and more of us in a changing Canadian society will not flinch in the face of the old bankrupt, bullying smears.
