"You do not mention how many rockets have been fired by the IDF at Gaza since the truce ended, only saying the ones fired from Gaza, which is a clear indication of your bias."

Dear Andrea Baillie and Tim Cook,
I am writing to express concern about your article: “Large pro-Israel rally planned for Parliament Hill on Monday,” published on December 4 in Canadian Press.
Your article is deeply one-sided, as it fails to mention much essential information that further misleads your readers.
First, you describe the event’s organizers as prominent Jewish groups, which is not entirely accurate. Such a description furthers the conflation of antisemitism with anti-zionism, which is unfair to the Jewish people who have been vocal about Palestinian liberation and against Zionism.
To make your article more accurate, I suggest changing prominent Jewish groups to pro-Israel groups.
Second, you do not mention how many rockets have been fired by the IDF at Gaza since the truce ended, only saying the ones fired from Gaza, which is a clear indication of your bias.
To make your article more balanced, I therefore suggest adding the number of rockets Israel fired at Gaza.
Third, you do not mention how many Palestinians have been killed by Israel since the truce ended, which is an essential piece of information to make your article less one-sided.
According to OCHA, from the afternoon of December 2 to the afternoon of December 3, at least 316 Palestinians have been killed, while 664 were injured.
I, therefore, suggest adding the most updated number of Palestinian casualties since the truce ended.
I hope Canadian Press will make these changes and cover local events and events related to Palestine-Israel in a complete and balanced manner.
Sincerely,
Fatima Haidar,
