RE:One of the most empowering traits of most journalists, regardless of whether they are far-right, far-left, or anything in between, is their ability and willingness to bring something hidden, underreported, and meaningful to light. Kinsella happens to lack it. He has managed to delude himself into thinking that a story about hotel breakfast at an overbooked hotel is something worth writing about. He traveled to Israel on a press tour and used an example of kids scrambling at hotel breakfast in their pajamas to, somehow, prove that kids there look sadder “than a child ever should.” Instead of pointing out and picking apart every racist, bigoted, and fundamentally twisted thought he’s decided to express, I would just like to ask Kinsella: Do you think about Palestinian children in Gaza?
