"Resistance isn’t just about surviving under brutal occupation. From global protests to raising awareness, from speaking out to remaining resilient, resistance takes many forms. It is our collective duty, as a global community bound by our humanity, to demand accountability. We must not rest until Palestine and Lebanon are liberated from decades of Israel’s illegal occupation, apartheid, and oppression."

Re: “Canada should be tougher on Israel for defying UN”
I applaud Ms. Linda McQuaig for her bold condemnation of Western nations that have shamefully failed to exert meaningful pressure on Israel to halt its relentless war machine in occupied Gaza and Lebanon. We are not just witnessing atrocities; we are watching one of the world’s most documented genocides unfold, in clear violation of international law. Yet both Western and Arab UN member states remain complicit, turning a blind eye to Israel’s war crimes.
You do not need to be Palestinian to oppose Israel’s ethnic cleansing in occupied Gaza. You do not need to be Lebanese to empathize with your brothers and sisters who have been forcibly displaced, enduring Israel’s daily bombings - whether in Beirut, the north, or the south. Just as the world rallied against apartheid in South Africa in the 1980s, we must unite globally against Israel’s systemic violations of human rights and international law. History will judge us for our inaction. The time for action is now; we must ignite a global upheaval.
