I would like to comment on your article of Oct 15th mentioned in the subject. Your coverage of the protest was supportive and well balanced, especially the interview with Ellen Gabriel who tied Palestinian struggle with the suffering and struggles of Indigenous peoples.

I am writing this letter on behalf of Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East [CJPME] to thank you for the article title: "March for Palestine garners widespread support."
Our mission is to enable Canadians of all backgrounds to promote justice, development and peace in the Middle East, and here at home in Canada.
I would like to comment on your article of Oct 15th mentioned in the subject. Your coverage of the protest was supportive and well balanced, especially the interview with Ellen Gabriel who tied Palestinian struggle with the suffering and struggles of Indigenous peoples.
However, the verbiage "conflict in Gaza" is not indicative of what is really happening - which is genocide.
Please consider the effect of words when writing your next article about Gaza.
