I am writing on behalf of Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East to sincerely thank you for your recent piece critically examining Prime Minister Mark Carney’s remarks at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

I appreciate that your analysis did not isolate Canada’s sovereignty concerns from its broader global responsibilities. Your willingness to question defence spending increases, economic realignment, and Canada’s stance on Gaza reflects the kind of rigorous, independent journalism that strengthens public discourse.

I encourage you to continue applying this principled lens to Canada’s foreign policy.
