Please help us challenge the Toronto Star for a pro-Israel opinion piece by George Monastiriakos that attempts to justify horrifying war crimes.

  • The piece justifies Israel’s disproportionate actions as 'self-defense' and uses the Holocaust as a justification for Israel’s ongoing war crimes. The arguments are highly inflammatory and inappropriate for print.
  • The author completely overlooks the massive number of civilian casualties in Gaza.
  • The piece claims chanting “From the river to the sea” means calling for the eradication of Jewish people, which is absolutely not true.
  • The author offensively suggests that Gaza is uncivilized and argues the Western-backed Palestinian Authority should be in control.
