Please help us challenge this The Morning Show (TMS) interview with contributor Shai Deluca.

Shai Deluca is an Israeli influencer who spoke about his experience in Tel Aviv while making unverified claims that Gazan civilians "came through with Hamas to murder Jews" on October 7.

The clear implication of his testimony — repeatedly claiming that Palestinian civilians are murderers — is that Israel's murder of civilians in Gaza is fair game because they are not innocent. CJPME is alarmed by the inflammatory content of his remarks.

  • Deluca doesn’t provide any evidence for the claim that non-Hamas-affiliated Gazan civilians were responsible for the October 7 attacks. He only recollects the story of one alleged witness.
  • The hosts both failed to challenge Deluca and his questionable claims.
  • Deluca is a “design expert” and social media influencer. He was a regular contributor to the Morning Show in the past to discuss design. His recent work has been promoting a pro-Israel narrative with other influencers. The Morning Show has now had him on to give a highly one-sided perspective of the events in Gaza. The Morning Show has not meaningfully balanced his appearances with Palestinian perspectives.
