The “conflict” in the Middle East is not a religious war. It is a typical false explanation that is given to describe the situation in Palestine. However, the State of Israel is based on the Zionist ideology that emerged in the 1800s.
This ideology places Jewish People above Palestinians, meaning that it has nothing to do with Judaism, as all Abrahamic religions, meaning Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, share a common belief that one must respect every faith and people and that they are all on equal footing.
Since its creation, Israel’s genocidal actions against the Palestinian people cannot be described as following the Jewish religion as it would be profoundly blasphemous and insulting to any Abrahamic faiths and their followers.
Using religion, now, to ask Israel to behave with kindness when it gave every possible evidence that it is not is nothing short of fantasy. What Israel needs is to be held accountable for its actions. Israel must be brought down from its high horse, and Western States must drop their shields protecting it.
