Please help us give a thank you to encourage this type of reporting and to defend the author and editors against the inevitable attacks from the pro-Israel lobby.

  • The Op-Ed mentions that Israel has so far killed about 38,000 people in Gaza, rightly emphasizing that the actual number may be far higher. It is crucial to note that 38,000 is likely an underestimation, as The Lancet medical journal suggests it is “not implausible” for the Gaza death toll to have reached 186,000—substantially exceeding the official count of 38,000 reported by Gaza's health ministry.
  • The article mentions that opposition to Israel has been met with an extraordinary campaign of intimidation and silencing, which is a form of anti-Palestinian racism.
