Gwynne Dyer's column
"We particularly appreciated Mr. Dyer detailing the obvious truth that Israel’s goal is to rid Gaza of Palestinians, and to ridiculing the twisted notion that any such departure could, under the current circumstances, be termed 'voluntary.'"

"Israel says X" is not journalism
The Israeli forces have a history of using lies and misinformation as pretexts for their massacres. I therefore kindly request that the article be amended to raise skepticism around Israel’s unsubstantiated claims and to clarify that these Israeli allegations have not been independently verified in the interest of upholding journalistic standards of accuracy and fairness.

Martin Regg Cohn oped needs corrections
"While Hezbollah maintains an armed wing outside the authority of the Lebanese state, describing it simply as unelected obscures its role as both a political and military actor within Lebanon's complex political landscape."

Concern re: the alleged systematic sexual and gender-based violenc
I appreciate that this is an opinion column. However, Mr. Bezmozgis’ claim that ‘systematic sexual and gender-based violence” occurred on October 7 is not factually based and relies on a report whose findings have been subject to substantial criticism and debunked by credible researchers.

The legality of Israeli settlements is not a matter of opinion.

Article repeats false Israeli allegation
The article should therefore be amended to include this Lebanese perspective from the ground, particularly given that the Israeli forces have been repeatedly targeting civilian infrastructure and civilians themselves. Otherwise, the article presents false Israeli allegations without informing readers that the Lebanese Army investigated the claims, and according to a security source who spoke to The National News, found no evidence to support them.

Concern regarding recent article
The B'nai Brith audit notoriously conflates antisemitism and anti-Zionism, leading Independent Jewish Voices (IJV) to describe the report as a "dangerous document that promotes anti-Palestinian racism and misrepresents the important reality of antisemitism in Canada." IJV also asserts that the methodology employed by the B'nai Brith is "sloppy" and says it "lacks transparency and independent verification."

Feedback regarding segment on US-Israel-Lebanon ceasefire
Given these developments, presenting the agreement as evidence of regional de-escalation without informing listeners that Israeli attacks resumed almost immediately afterward is deeply misleading. Listeners cannot meaningfully assess the significance of the agreement without being informed that Israeli strikes have continued despite the ceasefire announcement.
