Feedback on July 27 segment "Israeli settlers set fire to mosques, farmland in West Bank"

"At a minimum, the reporter should indicate that the Israeli settlers were armed, and she should have attempted to obtain and refer to Palestinian accounts of the confrontation - not just relying on what 'the Israeli military has said' - especially since this situation occurred in a Palestinian village." Re: Cognitive dissonance won't save the West

"The article does not inform audiences that Toronto Police have previously stated that several recent shootings targeting Jewish institutions in Canada, including  the U.S. consulate were the work of hired criminals, mainly youth just over or under the age of 18." Continue reading

We feel these points should be clarified in print and would welcome your comments." Continue reading

Standards issue in recent article

Reuters includes the claim that “Jews have lived for thousands of years” in Israel, but omits any mention of Palestinian indignity.   Continue reading

Constructive feedback regarding Israel's ceasefire violations

Inaccurate reporting regarding coverage of occupied West Bank

Palestinians are under siege in their own towns and being attacked by Israeli settlers. This is also an important context that should be added in future reporting.   Continue reading

Concerns regarding coverage of Israeli settler violence in WB

When a claim from a party to the conflict has not been checked, it should be reported as that party's claim, and readers should be told if it could not be verified. That is AP's own journalistic standard. Continue reading

Palestinians are experiencing genocide, not something "marvelous"

For a non-Palestinian Canadian to suggest that what is happening in Palestine is ‘marvelous’ does not speak to the history or current reality of Palestinians living there.  This reality is reflected in November 2025, when Palestinian Christians, launched their document: “Kairos Palestine II: A Moment of Truth: Faith in a Time of Genocide”.   Continue reading
