Misleading language regarding Israel's illegal settlements
The use of the terminology “Jewish settlements” is unusual, as settlements are primarily defined by their being Israeli - and illegal - and as such, they are almost universally called “Israeli settlements” by the media and the international community.

Concerns regarding inflammatory language on radio
The commentator is, of course, entitled to direct criticisms at Hamas. However, the manner in which the criticisms were framed is deeply concerning. By characterizing Hamas as being “from the Palestinian state” and describing it as “anti-Christ,” the commentator effectively associated in the minds of readers this inflammatory characterization with Palestinians more broadly.

Factual inaccuracies regarding release of Lebanese-Syrian abductees
Important context is missing. The handover of the abductees occurred as Israel continued to abduct more people in southern Lebanon, including three farmers from Halta on September 3, the same day Israel announced the release of the Lebanese-Syrian abductees. We therefore ask that this important context be added.

The Nakba was an ethnic cleansing campaign that began before 1948

Thanks for article on Israel's siege
Let’s not forget this situation is not rooted in crop failure, drought or UN funding reductions. The core of the problem comes from a single source; a cruel Israeli siege. Something your article does not directly mention except when it is alluded to in the second photo and its caption. Nevertheless we appreciate that you are keeping Canadians informed of this terrible situation.

Thank you for using the term 'ethnic cleansing' in your segment on Israel
As journalists, I know you understand the power of repetition in messaging. In this short segment, you use the words “relocate” twice, and “remove”, “migration” and “get them out” once each, for a total of five instances to establish the idea of Israel’s plan in the mind of the listener. By contrast, there is one quick mention of human rights groups noting this amounts to ethnic cleansing.
