Letter of thanks from cjpme
We applaud your Aug 21 segment on the West Bank Nightmare. Your interview with Maysa Hawwash, however horrific, is absolutely the type of information Canadians need to hear! Thank you for your thought interview questions and your heart felt shock at the current conditions Palestinian peoples in the West Bank face daily at the hands of Israeli settlers and the Israeli army.

Thank you and some feedback on "Is Israel deliberately setting wildfires in Lebanon"
The podcast was especially poignant for me as I have personal experience of wildfires. I live in the Okanagan valley of British Columbia and wildfires have become as our Premier recently said the ‘new normal’. Concern re: "Israeli military launches criminal probes into killings of Hind Rajab and Palestinian paramedics" (AP, Aug. 19, 2026)

Feedback on August 9 The National news segement: Israel rejects U.S.
"Although your report does a good job of portraying Israel’s short term motivation given the upcoming election, providing some additional background would have helped your viewers understand that Israel’s long term objective is to forcibly and permanently dispossess and cleanse Palestinians from their land and homes not just in Gaza but in the West Bank and East Jerusalem."

Gaza Peace negotiations
"By failing to characterize such remarks as racist, or genocidal, and normalizing them as merely inflammatory, CBC fails to inform its viewers of the calculated seriousness of Israel’s genocide in Palestine, its final solution for the Palestinian population it controls."

Inaccurate reporting and alarming conflicts of interest by Abigail Bimman of CTV News
To sum up, Bimman has provided positive coverage to the very individuals her advocacy organization celebrates and depends on for support. Worse yet, her organization has received notable support from Israel, yet she has not recused herself from covering issues related to it.
