Letter to Editor - Brave New World Order
Canadians are in for a big surprise when they learn the extent of Carney’s ambitions. With a slim majority just handed to him by unsuspecting Liberals, he’s now primed to unleash an unfettered attack on our rights and freedoms in pursuit of a new world order where our every thought and action is surveilled and controlled.

Misleading framing regarding escalation in Lebanon
The claim that Lebanon was “dragged into this war” is therefore misleading, as the Israeli forces had already been conducting near-daily airstrikes in the south. I also write in good faith and from lived experience. My family, like many other Lebanese families, has been affected by Israel’s ceasefire violations since November 2024.

Your piece on the Iran ceasefire
"Specifically, the second paragraph refers to 'Israeli attacks on Hezbollah targets near Beirut.' Further down, however, the text references 'airstrikes on Lebanon' that involved 'Israel hitting more than 100 targets' and killed '182 people.'"

Palestine solidarity protest is not a hate crime
"Unless Colin can point to specific instances of Palestine solidarity protests becoming criminal, he should not be mentioning the protests that started in response to Israel’s genocide. Feedback re: 75 weeks of protest: The battle at Bathurst and Shepherd
"To accuse someone at a pro-Palestine rally of doing a “Nazi salute” but not confirm it fuels hate, feeds into stereotypes of pro-Palestinian supporters and promotes anti-Palestinian racism. It does not have a place in responsible and fair journalism."

Falsehoods about flag should be corrected
"Sarah goes on to reduce spotting a Palestinian flag at the convention to the NDP being a single-issue party. That is a talking point that is being trotted out and beaten to death by corporate media."

Factual error in article about Bathurst and Sheppard
The protests you are referring to were vigils by the local Jewish community in support of the hostages. The way you have worded and placed this line makes it seem like the pro-Palestine demonstrations were taking place there. I don’t know if this is a mistake or by design but either way it violates all journalistic standards of accuracy and should be re-written to convey the truth of the matter.

Feedback on Iran’s enrichment facilities
Additionally, these latest warnings from Israel about an existential threat are the same ones that Israel has laundered for over 30 years. Time and again they have been proven wrong.
