The reports of the “gunmen opening fire” were issued by the IDF, whereas other sources, most notably Palestinian ones, have reported eye-witness accounts of the Israeli military ambushing and killing the Palestinian men without provocation as reported by the Middle East Monitor. I am extremely surprised to see that there are no Palestinian perspectives whatsoever in your reporting. The same government which is spearheading the judicial reforms, seen as a power grab by many in Israel, has also been busy approving new settlements on occupied Palestinian land and encouraging extremist settlers to perpetrate violence against Palestinian civilians. I am extremely surprised to see that there is very little mention of West Bank violence perpetrated by Israeli settlers and there are no Palestinian perspectives whatsoever in your reporting.
